Being a nature lover all my life, and having trained as an evolutionary biologist; I am now dedicating my life to telling global stories about the world around us, from people to wildlife, in an authentic way that empowers and educates.
I have worked with:
SILVERBACK FILMS
BBC NATURAL HISTORY UNIT
In association with:
NETFLIX
APPLETV+
As a trained conservationist, zoologist, and wildlife behaviour researcher; I have worked on projects with Galapagos Marine Iguanas, Leaf Cutter Ants, and dinosaur brains. I have been integral on productions bringing to life the most accurate dinosaur behaviours seen in any documentary ever; in Prehistoric Planet series 1 & 2, as well as an upcoming Netflix landmark.
I have experience in expedition & lab research; as well as on palaeontology digs.
I give talks about my research, and filmmaking journey most recently to the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour.
With 5 years experience in filmmaking; I have filmed at the Natural History Museum with Sir David Attenborough, filmed across the world including in the Galapagos, Spain, and Grand Cayman, and produced a film shown to to the Princess Royal, at the Whitley Awards for Nature.
I specialise in impactful stories; focussed on wildlife, science, and the interaction between people and nature.
As a science communicator I have worked on scripts for Sir David Attenborough & Morgan Freeman, several short films presented by myself, a 'highly commended' podcast, and a natural history radio show.
In my spare time I am a fiction author.
In 2023, after falling in love with the rugged landscapes, untamed life, and indomitable people of British Columbia, and educating myself on the cultural history of the land and it's inhabitants; I felt compelled to give something back to the region..
Under the banner of LANDMASS MEDIA; I am developing a unique and honest film about the region through the eyes of a core First Nation group. This film will look at what it means to find HOME; both as a nation fighting to live and have control over their ancestral land, and as a bear in some of the most pristine areas of temperate rainforest left in the world.
The bear is the First Nation's spirit of the ancestors, and through this authentic story, told by the First Nation members themselves, it will set a new benchmark for indigenous storytelling.
With funding, I envisage telling this vital story in the way it deserves. Get in touch, and let's work together.
