ZOOLOGIST
As a researcher I have delved into the mind of dinosaurs; recreating their brains virtually to help us understand their behaviours; I have followed Leaf Cutter ants around jungle temples in the deep forests of Belize, where the British Army's SAS train; and have followed Darwin's footsteps in the Galapagos.
I am as happy exploring marine life, as I am in the dirt digging up a dinosaur. I know how good science has to be explained by excellent science communication.
FILM MAKER
My time at the BBC Natural History Unit (2020-2022) gave me access to some of the leading palaeontologists in the world and the opportunity to interview them; smuggled Sir David Attenborough into the Natural History Museum, helped design dinosaurs, marine reptiles and ammonites for the incredible Series 2 of Prehistoric Planet; and pushed the boundaries of CGI filmmaking, using cutting edge photogrammetry techniques on a submersible ROV at sea - something never attempted before.
With Silverback Films (2022-2025) I brought unpublished science to life with the CGI wizards at Industrial Light & Magic, once again designing dinosaurs and incredible marine reptiles and their world, to tell incredible stories. I helped create palaeo-accurate set pieces in studio for filming live animals, and actors.
WRITER
With science communication, and filmmaking; writing is a vital tool; having helped write scripts for Sir David Attenborough & Morgan Freeman. I have also written a children's natural history radio show, aired on a major London radio.
I am an author of short stories (coming 3rd in a Waterstones Short Story Competition), and I am currently writing a novel
My professional filmmaking banner, LANDMASS MEDIA.
Telling the stories that deserve to be told.
March 6th 2026 sees the release of Netflix's The Dinosaurs.
Having the privilege to work on this incredible show; from designing stories, going down the deepest research holes imaginable, or designing the sound of the environment and animals, was a journey I will never forget.
Having the chance to be on set, dragging a full scale dinosaur through a forest was a bizarre and incredible experience. Who knew how hard fake blood was to remove from trees.
